The Angus Barn is one of the nation's most successful restaurants. Beef was the staple of the original Angus Barn menu. Even though the menu has expanded since then, steak and potatoes still rule. Walter J. Royal, the executive chef, oversees the preparation of more than 5,000 pounds of beef every week.
The rustic red barn on Highway 70 west of Raleigh marked it's 46th anniversary in June of 2006. While the Barn has grown and changed over the years, the basic principals hospitality, attractive atmosphere, and good value for the customer's dollar have remained the same. |
